Forklift Operator Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Forklift Operator to join our team at Aviation Recruitment Network Limited. As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for loading and unloading parcels, freight & cargo from vehicles, building and breaking down aircraft pallets, and working on a busy parcel sorting line moving parcels from aircraft containers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate a forklift to transport cargo and materials
  • Build and break down aircraft pallets to airline specifications
  • Work on a parcel sorting line, moving parcels from aircraft containers
  • Scan cargo and complete airfreight documentation
  • Drive airside to transport cargo
Requirements:
  • Valid counterbalance FLT licence or certifications
  • Experience as a Warehouse Operative or cargo operative (training will be provided)
  • Valid UK driving licence
What We Offer:
  • All shifts £15.12 p/h rising to £16.12 p/h after probation
  • Overtime after successful completion of probation, £29.56 p/h
