About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to join our team at Oracle. As a key member of our Security Products Group, you will play a critical role in building and maintaining our comprehensive product portfolios to protect customers' cloud environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop innovative solutions to detect system vulnerabilities and threat activities
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze problems, remediate, notify, and block attacks from malicious actors
  • Develop and maintain robust security controls, visibility, and data encryption solutions
  • Work closely with Product Managers to drive feature design reviews, documentation, and UX reviews
  • Contribute to the development of multi-tenant, virtualized infrastructure and continuous integration/deployment pipelines

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related technical field
  • 4+ years of practical experience developing distributed systems
  • Strong development experience in Java, C++, C#, or similar OO languages
  • Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, operating systems, and distributed systems fundamentals
  • Practical familiarity with networking protocols (TCP/IP, HTTP) and standard network architectures
  • Good understanding of databases (SQL & NoSQL), storage, and distributed persistence technologies

Preferred Qualifications

  • Hands-on experience developing services on a public cloud platform (e.g., AWS, Azure, Oracle)
  • Experience building multi-tenant, virtualized infrastructure
  • Expertise in applying threat modeling or other risk identification techniques to develop security solutions
  • Experience and understanding of Cryptography, DDoS, CVE, CIS, SAST, DAST, or similar security and compliance knowledge
