Job Title: Locum Practice Nurse Role in Oxfordshire
Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Practice Nurse to join our team in Oxfordshire. The ideal candidate will have a passion for primary care and possess the necessary skills and qualifications to provide high-quality healthcare services to a diverse patient population.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting health assessments, including smear tests, vaccinations, and wound care.
- Administering immunizations and vaccines.
- Assisting with chronic disease management and education.
- Taking patient histories and vital signs.
- Conducting general nursing duties as required.
- Collaborating with the healthcare team to deliver comprehensive patient care.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Valid NMC (Nursing and Midwifery Council) registration.
- Proven experience as a Practice Nurse, in a primary care setting.
- Competence in wound care, immunizations, and general practice nursing duties.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a team and independently.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
Sessional/Hourly Rate: £35ph
Length of Booking/Number of Sessions: On-going on ad-hoc basis
Days/Dates Required: Specific dates in November and December
Home Visits Required: No
Accommodation Provided: No
Key Skills, Qualifications and Client Requirements:
- Registered on the NMC
- Own a right to work in the UK
