As a Department Manager at Next, you will play a key role in the management team, driving store success and inspiring your team to achieve their targets and deliver exceptional customer experiences every day.
Key Responsibilities:- Customer Experience: Deliver an exceptional customer experience by providing personalized support and helping customers find the perfect product.
- Team Leadership: Lead by example, energize the team, and ensure they have everything they need to succeed.
- Store Targets: Support the management team in achieving key KPIs, focusing on sales growth and profitability.
- Store Standards: Maintain high store standards, including managing deliveries, stock replenishment, loss prevention, and health & safety procedures.
- Visual Execution: Execute brand visual standards with the support of the Visual Team and ensure your team is trained and equipped to do the same.
- Open Communication: Foster a culture of open communication, active listening, and idea-sharing with your team and wider store partners.
- Store Operations: Carry out opening and closing activities, including key holder duties, in line with company processes and procedures.
- New Product Launches: Support new product launches, floor set moves, and audits across the store, ensuring your team is trained and ready to execute.
- Team Development: Develop and manage your team to deliver objectives that drive strong performance and results.
- Customer Passion: Demonstrate a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences and a keenness to learn and develop customer service skills and product knowledge.
- Leadership with Purpose: Lead with purpose, engaging and developing your team to have a shared enthusiasm for the brand and the experience we create.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with purpose, working with your team and wider business teams to achieve shared goals and objectives.
