At Home Instead, we're looking for an exceptional Care Support Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our senior management team, you'll play a vital role in ensuring our clients receive the highest quality care and support in the comfort of their own homes.
Responsibilities:
- Carry out effective supervisions, appraisals, and support visits with our Care Professionals to ensure complete employee engagement.
- Conduct regular Care Certificate Touchpoints and Observations to demonstrate our well-trained, competent, and capable workforce.
- Audit all paperwork, including daily activity logs, to ensure compliance with our policies and procedures, CQC Regulations, and Safeguarding protocols.
- Visit clients, enhancing our relationship with them, carrying out needs assessments, updating care plans, matching and introducing CAREGivers, and representing the company as the premium care provider in the area.
- Carry out customer assessments prior to them receiving care from us and attend their first care visit to introduce their CAREGiver, offering a truly personalized service, bespoke to their individual needs, wants, and aspirations.
- Produce highly individualized and comprehensive care plans at first and subsequent reviews to ensure we're always up to date with changing clients' needs and ensuring our CAREGivers are always meeting those needs.
Qualifications
We're looking for a true leader with excellent customer service, administrative, IT, and people skills. You'll need:
- Similar experience of delivering home care services to people living in their own homes and experience of supervising a team.
- Good experience in supervising employees, ensuring all staff are always 100% engaged and fulfilled in their work.
- Well-developed organizational skills, be a multi-tasker, and communicative both written and verbally.
- Good levels of computer systems literacy with strong Word skills.
- A confident, 'can-do' attitude with a genuine enthusiasm for working in a busy yet effective, deadline-driven team environment.
- A professional customer-facing and telephone manner, a smiling personality, and empathy for others.
- An outstanding eye for detail and a 'right first time' attitude.
- The ability to make friends and influence people.
