The Role

As an Area Support Manager, you will oversee a specific area of our catering operations for a region of Primary & Secondary school contracts. Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will lead our teams in delivering exceptional food operations, meeting and exceeding client expectations.

You will work 40 hours per week, 52 weeks a year, for a competitive salary of £35,000 per annum.

Responsibilities
  • Support the creation and delivery of sales presentations to potential new clients.
  • Assist in new contract mobilizations.
  • Build strong relationships with clients, providing exceptional customer service.
  • Ensure teams are fully trained and identify training gaps.
  • Maintain company systems, procedures, and legislation.
  • Conduct regular unit audits to ensure company standards are met.
  • Complete monthly reporting.
  • Support the Operations Manager in delivering action plans for a consistent, service-led operation.
About You

We seek an experienced professional in the hospitality/contract catering sector, with a proven track record in team leadership and development. You will have excellent communication skills, able to lead client meetings and manage expectations.

You will be process-led, ensuring standards, procedures, and systems are maintained and followed. Excellent computer skills and the ability to work independently are essential.
