Quick Staff UK Ltd is seeking a reliable and skilled Production Operator to join their team in the Tonyrefail area. As a Production Operator, you will be responsible for preparing, packaging, and handling finished goods while adhering to company-approved standard operating procedures and relevant policies for health & safety, hygiene, and quality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure correct labels are available for products to be run at the start of each shift.
- Follow specification sheets to ensure compliance with agreed specifications.
- Conduct packaging in accordance with company hygiene requirements.
- Feed line equipment and participate in line equipment changes as required.
- Maintain effective use of materials and minimize wastage.
- Be aware of company health and safety policy and ensure all processes are conducted safely.
- Highlight any shortages to avoid unnecessary downtime.
- Ensure maximum effective utilisation of machinery and run machinery at correct speed levels.
- Complete production administration procedures accurately.
- Lift items up to 25kg while adhering to company health and safety.
- Assist in the training of other colleagues.
Key Requirements:
- Previous experience in a manufacturing environment (ideally food manufacturing).
- Self-motivated, dedicated, resourceful, adaptable, and flexible.
- Team player with good communication skills.
- Punctual.
- Good level of literacy and numeracy.
- Desire to undertake ongoing training.
- GCSE Level or equivalent education.
Working Hours: 6am - 2pm / 2pm - 10pm, Monday to Friday (rotating weekly)
