Job Title: Production Operative

Join Marshalls PLC, the UK's leading hard landscaping manufacturer, as a Production Operative and be part of a team that creates high-quality concrete products using the latest technology and techniques.

About the Role:

As a Production Operative, you will work in a busy manufacturing environment, operating press machinery, hand-powered tools, shot blast machinery, and mobile plant such as Forklift trucks to move stock around the site. You will be responsible for manufacturing high-quality concrete products, ensuring health and safety at all times, and working collaboratively with the team to achieve production targets.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate press machinery, hand-powered tools, shot blast machinery, and mobile plant to manufacture high-quality concrete products
  • Ensure health and safety at all times, following company procedures and guidelines
  • Work collaboratively with the team to achieve production targets and meet customer demands
  • Learn and develop skills in manufacturing techniques, processes, safety, quality, waste, and OEE
  • Communicate effectively with team members, maintenance team, and team managers to ensure smooth production operations
Requirements:
  • Experience working in a busy production/manufacturing environment (preferred but not essential)
  • Forklift truck license and experience (advantageous)
  • Good group working spirit and flexibility on shift rotation or night shift experience
  • Basic computer user knowledge required
  • Safe to Supervise or IOSH qualification (advantageous but not essential)
