We are seeking a qualified Clinical Psychologist to join our team in North Devon, working with children and young people with complex needs. As a Clinical Psychologist, you will offer high-quality psychological input to neurodiverse children and young people, their families, and professional networks.
Main Responsibilities:- Undertake complex assessments and deliver evidence-based and outcome-monitored psychological therapies.
- Collaborate with other pathways to support the most effective approach for children and young people to have consistent experiences of care.
- Provide teaching and training to colleagues and other stakeholders.
- Safeguard children and ensure the safety of young people in partnership with other agencies as appropriate.
- Attend to diversity and work in a way that promotes anti-discriminatory practice.
- A Professional Doctorate in Clinical Psychology or equivalent.
- Post qualification specialist therapy/assessment training relevant to children and young people.
- Post qualification training or proven equivalent experience in supervision.
Children and Family Health Devon (CFHD) is an Alliance of NHS organizations working together to improve health outcomes for children and young people in Devon. We provide integrated care and treatment for children and young people across physical and mental health, working closely with other organizations and providers to ensure we deliver locality and county-wide based integrated access to all of our services.
