Product Development Assistant

We are looking for a highly skilled Product Development Assistant to join our team at Prodrive. As a key member of our business operations team, you will be responsible for supporting the development and production of new merchandise products.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Researching new business opportunities within the toy sector and supporting the team in marketing new projects
- Managing the development and database of product concepts, specifications, and prototypes, conducting online research to obtain market data and customer feedback
- Liaising with clients and factories, and sending out information to licensees, including liveries and CAD data
- Implementing measures and processes to collate and store data, check and approve samples with IP and suppliers
- Analysing data and preparing reports for the Sales, Marketing, and E-Commerce teams
- Implementing processes, control, and structure to approve all IP and model data
- Creating and maintaining organised records and documentation of all products and specifications
- Providing feedback to the Management team on market opportunities and developments
- Supporting the Sales, Marketing, and E-Commerce teams in other tasks as required
Our ideal candidate will have an understanding of project management or product development, with previous experience in a Business Support/Coordinator role. You will be process-led and highly organised, with a strong attention to detail and experience working with data. You will have strong communication skills and time management skills with the ability to deal with changing priorities, and be computer literate and proficient in Microsoft Office and Excel.
