ROLE OVERVIEW

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Control and Instrumentation Engineer to join our commercial team. The successful candidate will play a crucial part in ensuring the reliable and efficient operation of processes through the design, implementation, and maintenance of control systems and instrumentation.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide technical services to existing clients as instructed.
  • To meet the requirements of the agreed schedule identified within the project plan for EC&I deliverables as assigned by the Framework Manager.
  • Effectively liaise with the Framework Manager to solve any problems which arise.
  • Attend site when required.
  • To ensure that applicable legislation and standards are applied across all aspects of EC&I delivery to the Project.
  • To provide technical input during the design phase, with an emphasis on constructability of the design.
  • Ideal candidates will have experience working in the gas and utilities industry.
  • Creating electrical schematics, control logic diagrams, and instrument loop diagrams.

SKILLS REQUIRED:

  • Experience: Electrical Control and Instrumentation engineering specifically in projects, modifications, testing, and technical review of documentation within the energy sector, particularly hazardous area experience is essential.
  • A strong understanding of the Gas industry and design standards.
  • Skills: Delivery focused and able to achieve business-critical timescales and work under pressure.

SALARY AND BENEFITS

The salary for this position is £55,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience. We also offer hybrid working arrangements, social company events, company pension, progression to senior roles, mental health & wellbeing schemes, and more.
