Procurement Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Procurement Officer to join our team at Warwickshire County Council. As a key member of our Procurement team, you will play a vital role in supporting the procurement process for various services, including Social Care and Health, Children and Young People, and WFRS.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting on a range of tenders for various services, including Social Care and Health, Children and Young People, and WFRS.
- Leading on low-level procurements using Invitations to Quote.
- Providing support to commissioners, operational staff, and contract management as required.
- Assisting with the management of the In-Tend online tendering portal and delivering training on its use as needed.
- Contributing to the overall delivery of the Procurement (People) team projects and targets.
To succeed in this role, you must have excellent communication skills, be able to work independently, and apply your own initiative. You should also be able to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and manage relationships effectively.
