Job Title: Airport Sous Chef

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Airport Sous Chef to join our team at Topgolf. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for assisting the Executive Chef in providing exceptional dining experiences for our guests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and Lead the Kitchen Team: Oversee the daily operations of the kitchen, ensuring that all culinary activities are executed to the highest standards.
  • Culinary Coaching and Development: Provide guidance and support to junior team members, helping them to develop their skills and knowledge.
  • Team Engagement and Morale: Foster a positive and inclusive team culture, promoting associate engagement and motivation.
  • Task Delegation and Collaboration: Work closely with the team to delegate tasks and responsibilities, ensuring that all culinary activities are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Core Values and Standards: Demonstrate Topgolf's Core Values: Fun, One Team, Excellence, Edgy Spirit, and Caring, and maintain the highest standards of quality and service.
  • Inventory Management and Cost Control: Monitor stock levels and purchase product, maintaining food and labor costs within budget.
  • Menu Planning and Execution: Plan and cost menus for special events and chef's choice menus, ensuring that all culinary activities are executed to the highest standards.
  • Equipment Maintenance and Hygiene: Oversee the maintenance of equipment and ensure that all food safety and hygiene standards are met.
  • Communication and Partnership: Communicate effectively with upper management, Home Office Leadership, and suppliers, building strong relationships and partnerships.

Requirements:

  • Significant Experience: Proven experience in high-volume, culinary operations, with a strong track record of success.
  • Culinary Qualification: Relevant culinary qualification, such as a degree or diploma in culinary arts.
  • Food Hygiene Certification: Food Hygiene Level 3 Certification.
  • Fast-Paced Environment: Experience working in a fast-paced environment, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.

Salary and Benefits:

Salary: £28,000 - £32,000 per annum, with a bonus structure in place.

Right to Work in the UK:

You will be required to provide a valid Proof of Right to Work in the UK, which can be a valid Passport, Birth Certificate, and National Insurance Documentation, or another form of valid right to work documentation.
