About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Officer to join our team at Babcock International Group. As a Security Officer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and security of our site.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide first-line defense and control authorized access to the site, ensuring a friendly and efficient service for all visitors.
  • Participate in a team that provides first-line defense and response at the site, ensuring compliance with security plans and emergency arrangements.
  • Act as a designated First Aider and carry out security duties for designated Urenco buildings, including monitoring CCTV.
  • Achieve SIA Guarding/Door Supervisor qualifications and licensing to enable resilience support at the Gate House in emergency situations.
  • Carry out Fire Marshall duties for designated occupied Urenco buildings, taking command to ensure the safety of occupants and conducting roll calls.
  • Maintain a database to capture demand and produce reports in line with business expectations.

Requirements

  • Previous administration experience, including Excel skills.
  • Ability to prioritize work streams.

Desirable Qualifications

  • SIA Guarding or Door Supervisor or First Aid at Work/Fire Marshall qualifications.

Security Clearance

The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
