HVAC Business Development Manager

* Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the commercial and industrial sectors, focusing on HVAC solutions that reduce energy costs.
* Build and maintain strong client relationships to understand their needs and provide tailored HVAC and control solutions.
* Leverage existing customer relationships to promote and sell our control solutions, highlighting the benefits of our HVAC and control offering.
* Prepare and deliver persuasive sales presentations to key decision-makers, specifying energy-efficient HVAC solutions and creating business cases that demonstrate a clear return on investment for clients.
* Organise and attend site surveys, developing detailed quotes and proposals as needed, and participate in on-site meetings with partners and clients to ensure alignment and satisfaction.
* Identify, develop, and grow relationships with contractors and installers, securing installation and labour quotations, and foster referral partnerships to expand business opportunities.
* Negotiate contracts and pricing with clients, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements, and provide technical support using appropriate vendor tools and resources.
* Secure orders and develop enquiries, collect and report industry knowledge and competitor analysis, and plan and manage projects, ensuring they are completed on schedule and within budget.
Essential Requirements:
* Development of customer relationships in a B2B environment, with a proven track record in a pre/post-sales role within the HVAC industry (circa 10 years).
* Sub-contractor/installer knowledge, knowledge of HVAC industry, and technical knowledge of a variety of HVAC solutions (predominately heating and cooling).
* Experience of selling commercial/industrial HVAC solutions/heating systems to end users and contractors, with the ability to communicate technical information to non-technical audiences.
* Demonstrable track record of achieving sales targets and/or budgets, with a strong understanding of the energy efficiency market and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
