Electrical Wireman - Norwich, United Kingdom Estimated Salary: £32,000 - £42,000 per annum

Serve Talent is currently seeking an experienced Electrical Wireman to join our client in Norwich, working on high-priority defence projects. As an Electrical Wireman, you will be responsible for assembling, wiring, and testing electrical systems and equipment according to technical drawings and specifications.

The successful candidate will have excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to conduct fault-finding and troubleshooting during testing phases. Previous experience working on defence-related or security-cleared projects is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assemble, wire, and test electrical systems and equipment according to detailed technical drawings and specifications.
  • Ensure all wiring and assembly meet high-quality standards, including MoD and industry regulations.
  • Conduct fault-finding and troubleshooting during testing phases.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure project deadlines are met.
  • Maintain accurate records of work completed.
Requirements:
To be considered for this role, you must meet the following criteria:
  • Proven experience as an Electrical Wireman or in a similar role within an engineering or manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to interpret and work from complex electrical and technical diagrams.
  • Excellent attention to detail and high standards of workmanship.
  • Must be a British citizen due to the security requirements of the projects.
  • Previous experience working on defence-related or security-cleared projects is desirable.
