Job Title: Structural Engineer

KBR is a global leader in providing comprehensive solutions to government and industry clients. We're seeking a skilled Structural Engineer to support a large infrastructure programme in the West of Scotland.

This role involves working as part of a multi-disciplinary engineering team, supporting nuclear facilities and delivering services across client sites. You'll be responsible for designing and assessing steelwork structures to withstand dynamic loads, including earthquake motions, blast, wind, rain, and snow loading.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and assess steelwork structures to withstand dynamic loads
  • Work on steelwork marine structures and jetties
  • Produce robust technical justification for structural design modifications
  • Apply theoretical and practical methods to design, develop, and maintain engineering processes and systems
  • Use general and specialist engineering knowledge to apply existing and emerging technology

Requirements:

  • SC clearance or eligibility
  • Degree in Structural Engineering

Location: This position is hybrid, with the opportunity to work onsite in Helensburgh or remotely. Occasional site visits may be required.
