Management Accountant/Bookkeeper

Alma Personnel is seeking a highly skilled Management Accountant/Bookkeeper to join their team on a permanent basis. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial management and bookkeeping, with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and manage financial reports, including balance sheets and income statements
  • Oversee the day-to-day bookkeeping, including accounts payable and receivable
  • Manage a portfolio of clients, providing financial guidance and support
  • Assist with the preparation of tax returns and statutory accounts
  • Provide training and support to junior team members
  • Visit clients on an occasional basis to provide financial guidance and support
Requirements:
  • Strong background in financial management and bookkeeping
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to meet deadlines and manage workload effectively
  • Experience with tax returns and statutory accounts is beneficial
  • AAT level 4 and practice experience would be advantageous

  • Competitive salary of £28,000 - £32,000 annually pro rata, dependent on experience
