Job Title: Head of Sustainability

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Sustainability to join our team. As a key member of our global design studio, you will lead our sustainability efforts and drive innovative approaches to sustainable design.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and guide a regional team to deliver sustainable design solutions across various large-scale projects
  • Oversee multiple projects simultaneously, workflows, and support design teams on sustainability-related topics
  • Design and assess sustainability frameworks, conduct environmental and energy analyses, develop health and well-being strategies, and manage third-party certifications and GHG emission analysis
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to integrate sustainable design goals and maximize energy efficiency throughout project lifecycles

Requirements:

  • Relevant degree in architecture with a focus on environmental design, building services/engineering, or a related discipline
  • Accredited within energy assessment or experience using energy modelling software such as SAP, SBEM, IES
  • Experience within embodied carbon and lifecycle assessments
  • Strong understanding of BREEAM and LEED
  • Experience in OneClick LCA, Energy Strategies, Daylight & Sunlight consultancy, and sustainability rating systems
  • Desire to realise net zero carbon targets across the studio and a passion for analysing data research, and assisting design solutions
  • Open communication skills with the ability to bring people together through training and knowledge sharing
  • Experience with project budgeting, cost tracking, and interdisciplinary team management
