Job Title: Vehicle Data Specialist

About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and analytical individual to manage and maintain our vehicle database, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of data updates. As a Vehicle Data Specialist, you will be responsible for:

  • Ensuring the timely update of new vehicle variants in Miles with CAP data according to agreed KPI's.
  • Managing and maintaining the creation of manual catalogue vehicles – non-CAP (Heavy commercial, plant & equipment).
  • Reviewing manufacturer contracts & discounts in accordance with explicit approval documentation.
  • Auditing Miles catalogue vehicle current pricing to ensure accuracy at all times.
  • Preparing reports to identify the number of vehicles added, updated and discontinued.
  • Collating and reporting to the business summaries of vehicle data changes which includes new products or changes.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Qualified automotive or electrical mechanic.
  • Minimum 5 years additional automotive experience.
  • Automotive Finance / Fleet Management experience.
  • Advanced data management and MS software skills.
  • Strong literary, numeracy and data entry skills.
