Job Description

Proximity Recruitment is seeking a seasoned Product Director to lead the Product Management division of a global building materials business in the UK. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing a portfolio and team, as well as supporting strategic cross-functional projects within the group.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver the strategy for new product and product improvement introduction
  • Conduct robust end-to-end commercial assessments for projects
  • Sponsor and participate in agreed project teams
  • Perform lifecycle analysis to reconcile current product performance and develop future product roadmaps
  • Manage the product portfolio, working with commercial colleagues to track performance
  • Understand current and anticipated market dynamics for the product portfolio, in collaboration with marketing and commercial teams, to identify and anticipate market opportunities and challenges
  • Develop and deliver a sustainable product portfolio, differentiating tactics depending on the product project, and strategically shaping the division, including growing the team and working closely with senior stakeholders

Requirements:

  • Background in product management within construction, manufacturing, or building products
