Job Summary:
Mitchell Maguire is seeking an experienced Sales Manager - Plumbing & Heating to join our team. As a Sales Manager - Plumbing & Heating, you will be responsible for selling a manufactured range of plumbing pipes & fittings, underfloor heating, pre-insulated pipework, district heating, and heat interface units to M&E contractors, installers, and plumbing & heating merchants.
Key Responsibilities:
- Field sales position, selling to M&E contractors and installers, with a focus on new business development and account management.
- 70% of your time will be spent selling to M&E contractors and installers, while 30% will be spent selling to independent and national merchants.
- Turnover target of circa £350k, with project sizes varying from £350 to £1k per house.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, understanding their needs and providing solutions to meet their requirements.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, products, and services to provide expert advice to customers.
- Work closely with the sales team to achieve sales targets and contribute to the growth of the business.
Requirements:
- Technical field sales experience with plumbing & heating contractors and merchants.
- Ideal candidate will have sold to M&E contractors, installers, and plumbing & heating merchants.
- Preferably from the commercial HVAC, M&E, building services industry.
- Preferably a manufacturing field sales background, but also open to a distribution field sales background if previously worked for a manufacturer.
- IT savvy, able to create sales plans and manage data.
- Ideal candidate will have knowledge of commercial plumbing and heating products, such as pipes & fittings, heat interface units, district heating, underfloor heating, pre-insulated pipework, and building services.
- Energetic self-starter, capable of handling multiple tasks to deadlines.
- Calm, trustworthy, and professional approach.
