Advise Internal Customers

Advise internal customers on communications activity to support their objectives and ensure alignment with our organisational goals.

Support Press and PR Function

Support our press and PR function, including positive and negative media handling, public relations, and promotional activity where appropriate.

Build Relationships with Media and Stakeholders

Build strong relationships with local, national, and trade media, as well as key stakeholders, to promote our organisation's services and values.

Deliver Creative Communications

Deliver excellent and creative communications through research, writing, editing, and proofreading, ensuring that all content is engaging, informative, and on-brand.

Contribute to Digital Channels

Contribute content to our organisational websites, social media, and other digital channels, ensuring that all content is up-to-date, relevant, and personal to the target audience.

Produce Resident Communications

Produce and edit resident communications and publications, managing the process through to delivery.

Track and Evaluate Campaigns

Assist in setting up tracking and evaluation reports on campaigns and communication activities, including trend analysis.

Ensure Brand Consistency

Be a 'Brand Guardian', ensuring that all communications are 'on message', adopting the right tone for the audience, and following our brand guidelines.

Consider Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion

Ensure that Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion are considered in all organisational communications.

Essential Criteria

  1. Minimum of 2 Years' Experience

Minimum of 2 years' experience in a communications environment, with a proven track record of delivering effective communications.

Excellent Writing and Editing Skills

Ability to write and edit for a range of audiences and channels, with excellent knowledge of responding to press enquiries, media engagement, and public relations.

Experience in Content Creation

Experience in developing creative multimedia content for social media and other digital channels, as well as experience of content management systems for digital channels.

Exceptional Planning and Organisational Skills

Exceptional personal planning, administrative, and organisational skills to prioritise workload, set, and meet deadlines.
