We are seeking a Specialist Family Therapist to join our team at Leicestershire Partnership NHS Trust. As a key member of the CAMHS team, you will be working with children, young people, and families to provide specialist assessment and intervention.

About the Job

This challenging yet rewarding role offers the opportunity to develop your skills in clinical leadership and work closely with multidisciplinary teams to provide high-quality care. We offer a competitive salary of **£45,000-55,000 per annum**, depending on qualifications and experience.

The successful candidate will have current UKCP registration and experience of working with complex mental health needs in both inpatient and community services. They will also have the ability to exercise autonomous professional responsibility for the assessment and treatment of young people and their families.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To undertake detailed psychological assessments of children and families, including face-to-face contact.
  • To deliver an agreed package of care, working autonomously as a professional therapist.
  • Participating in multidisciplinary meetings, child protection case conferences, and reviews.
  • To undertake risk assessment and risk management for individual young people, providing advice to other professionals.
