We are seeking a skilled Field Installation and Maintenance Technician to join our team at Ingersoll Rand Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation and maintenance of custom machines at our Preston workshop and customer sites.
Responsibilities
- Set up machines at Preston for sign off with customers
- Organise delivery to end users
- Manage installations in autonomy, including prevention plans and lifting means
- Set up machines at customer sites
- Refine settings
- Diagnose and fix potential failures
Requirements
- Diploma in mechanical or electro technical engineering
- Experience of 3 years at a similar position in an industrial environment
- Good skills with hand tools, power tools, and good practices for mechanical, pneumatic, and electric assembly
- Knowledge of special machines
- Office Pack
- SolidWorks CAD software for visualisation
- Forklift driving license, MEWP driving license, or Working at height permit
