About the Role

This is an excellent opportunity to broaden your knowledge in a range of specialties such as stroke/neurological conditions, elderly care, and surgery/orthopaedics.

You will work within a multi-disciplinary team in a community hospital inpatient ward, providing support and treatment to individuals with a wide range of conditions.

The estimated salary for this role is £28,000 - £38,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Provide support and treatment to individuals with a wide range of conditions.
  • Assist registered staff in assessment and therapy tasks, including implementing treatment plans agreed with the registered therapy staff.
  • Develop and implement training programs for patients, carers, and families.
Requirements:
  • Relevant NVQ Level 3 in health care or equivalent qualification.
  • Knowledge of general rehabilitation principles.
  • Awareness of group work and dementia care.
  • Experience of working in an inpatient setting.
  • Ability to use patient handling and technical equipment relevant to patient groups.
