Accountant and Audit Semi Senior Job Opportunity

TPF Recruitment is currently working with an independent firm of Chartered Accountants located near Reigate Surrey. The firm is seeking an experienced Accountant and Audit Semi Senior with 2 to 3 years of practice experience to join their dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare financial statements and accounts for a variety of clients.
  • Assist with audit assignments under the guidance of senior staff.
  • Conduct bookkeeping and manage client records.
  • Prepare VAT returns and other statutory filings.
  • Assist in the preparation of tax computations and returns.
  • Provide support to clients with any accounting or audit-related queries.
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure the smooth delivery of services.
Requirements:
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
  • Proficient in using accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications:

  • AAT Level 4 qualified or nearing the completion of AAT qualification.
  • Accounts experience is essential.
  • Audit experience is not required but will be beneficial.
