Semi-Senior Accountant Opportunity

Annual Salary: Up to £30,000

Location: Reigate

Job Type: Full-time

We are seeking a dedicated Semi-Senior Accountant to join our reputable Chartered Accountancy firm. The ideal candidate will have completed their AAT exams and be eager to start or continue their ACCA qualification. With a requirement of at least 2 years of experience within a Practice environment, this role is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to advance their career in accountancy.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Assisting with the preparation of financial statements and tax returns for a diverse client portfolio.
  2. Working closely with senior accountants to conduct audits and manage client accounts.
  3. Ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
  4. Supporting clients with bookkeeping, VAT returns, and other accounting queries.
  5. Utilising accounting software to maintain accurate financial records.
  6. Continuously developing your technical accounting skills and knowledge.
Requirements:
  1. Completion of AAT exams is essential.
  2. Ambition to start or continue ACCA qualification.
  3. Minimum of 2 years' experience within an accountancy practice.
  4. Strong understanding of accounting principles and legislation.
  5. Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  7. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  8. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
