About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at Lifeways. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to individuals with learning disabilities, brain injuries, physical disabilities, autism, or mental health conditions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide person-centered support to individuals, promoting their independence and well-being
  • Assist with daily living tasks, such as personal care, meal preparation, and household chores
  • Support individuals to engage in activities and hobbies, promoting social inclusion and community participation
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues and external agencies to ensure seamless care and support
  • Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge

Requirements
  • Previous experience in a care or support role
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends
  • DBS clearance (paid for by Lifeways)
