We have an exciting permanent opportunity for an experienced Senior Support Worker to work in one of our Extra Care Schemes. The role involves **supporting the Hallwood ECH Scheme** to deliver a high quality, person-centred, safe service for all our service users. This will be done overseeing our fabulous Support Workers, ensuring they meet the required standards of document completion, practical care, communication and safeguarding to support staff to grow with the Business.

**Duties include**:

- Working 35 hours, plus alternative weekends and the on-call as per the rota.
- Acting as a 'buddy' to all new starters and support them in their training during probation.
- Responsible for completing and booking observations,
- Support visits and medication evaluations
- Updating support plans and risk assessments
- Managing weekly and daily staff rota’s
- Managing new resident move in’s
- Dealing with all professionals
- Managing quikplan daily
- Meeting ECH senior KPI’s
- Carrying out medication checks each week
- Taking the allocated schemes on call
- Supporting other ECH schemes as and when required by RM
- Communicating with housing,
- Carrying out staff reviews,
- Carrying out hospital assessments,
- Implementing new care packages,
- Managing and maintaining templates,
- Completing and sending reports daily and weekly
- Stock checking each week
- Dealing with general day to day issues with the scheme
- attending meetings as and when required.
- Prepare MMR’s
- Complete audits every month of MMR’s and Comms
- Support with Site inspections and CQC inspections

**You must**
- hold or be willing to work towards a minimum of RQF/NVQ Level 3 qualification.
- Computer literate with experience of using Word and Excel.
- Experience of using Outlook is also recommended.
