Job Title: Senior Fire Engineering Specialist

Estimated Salary: £65,000 - £80,000 per annum

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Fire Engineering Specialist to join our team at Construction Professionals Recruitment. As an experienced Fire Engineer, you will lead key aspects of a dynamic and growing team within our innovative specialist division.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in fire engineering, with a minimum of 5 years post-qualification experience. You will be responsible for conducting thorough Fire Risk Assessments, including visual and fully intrusive inspections, as well as providing expert advice on fire safety compliance and regulatory standards to clients such as Local Authorities and Housing Associations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Liaise closely with Clients, Contractors, Developers, Clerk of Works, and other key stakeholders
  • Undertake Risk Assessments in line with current legislation
  • Advise clients of pragmatic, cost-effective solutions to mitigate risk where possible

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years post-qualification experience in fire engineering
  • Proven expertise conducting External Wall Risk Assessments and Compartmentation Surveys
  • Proficiency completing Type 1-4 FRAs and understanding compartmentation in both small and large-scale projects
  • Hands-on experience with refurbishment and re-cladding large and smaller projects
  • Solid knowledge of fire protection systems and the ability to provide strategic guidance on fire safety measures
