Domestic Violence Specialist
We are seeking a skilled Domestic Violence Specialist to join our team in Blackpool. As an IDVA, you will work with victims at high risk of serious harm through domestic violence, supporting them to keep themselves safe, understand their rights and options, and support them through the Criminal Justice process when required.
About the Role
This role involves working with partner agencies to develop multi-agency plans to support victims effectively. You will need a good understanding of the dynamics of domestic abuse, preferably experience of working with victims at high risk of harm, and an IDVA accreditation or willingness to work towards one.

About the Team
This role is based in Blackpool, predominantly covering Lancaster, Fylde, and Wyre, but there may be a requirement to cover other areas of the county. Hybrid working will be available.
Key Responsibilities
- Working with victims at high risk of serious harm through domestic violence
- Completing risk assessments and safety plans
- Working with partner agencies to develop multi-agency plans
Requirements
- Good understanding of the dynamics of domestic abuse
- Preferably experience of working with victims at high risk of harm
- IDVA accreditation or willingness to work towards one
