Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and ambitious Semi Senior Accountant to support our accounts team in preparing year-end accounts, management accounts, and other financial reports. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare year-end accounts and management accounts in accordance with FRS102a and FRS105
  • Draft corporation tax computations and personal tax returns
  • Assist clients with bookkeeping, including monthly reconciliations and journals
  • Manage client relationships and provide support and training as needed
  • Prepare VAT returns and submissions, and assist with CIS returns
Requirements
  • Qualified by experience or AAT Level 4 studier, AAT qualified
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and manage multiple priorities
  • Proficient in cloud-based software, including Xero, Sage, and QuickBooks
