Kenton Black Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant to join their team. As a key member of the accounts team, you will be responsible for supporting the preparation of year-end accounts, management accounts, and corporation tax computations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparation of FRS102a and FRS105 year-end accounts
  • Management Accounts preparation
  • Draft corporation tax computations
  • Knowledge of personal tax returns would be an advantage

Outsourcing Duties:

  • Bookkeeping, inclusive of monthly reconciliations/monthly journals
  • Assisting clients with payment runs, credit control etc.
  • Experienced with cloud-based software- in the main Xero (75%) Sage (20%) Quickbooks (5%)
  • Comfortable setting up bank feeds
  • Offering support and training to clients
  • VAT Returns and submissions
  • Experience with CIS Returns
  • Able to assist clients with software switch – i.e. from Sage to Xero

Requirements:

  • Digitally minded – i.e. has an understanding and interest in the use of staying on top of trends to deliver an excellent service to clients
  • Efficient and organised to ensure timely delivery
  • Effective relationship builder both with clients and the wider team
  • Eager and ambitious to learn new skills
