Job Description

We are seeking a Support Worker to join our team to support a gentleman in his late 60's living independently in the Penrith area. The gentleman has an acquired brain injury.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the client with daily living tasks, including household chores, personal care, shopping, and regular outings in the local community.
  • Encourage and promote independence in daily living tasks.
  • Develop and maintain a positive relationship with the client and their family.
  • Work collaboratively with the client's healthcare team to ensure comprehensive care.

Requirements

  • Full, clean UK driving licence (experience of driving a wheelchair-accessible vehicle is desirable but not essential).
  • Experience of working with adults with physical and cognitive impairments is essential.
  • Previous experience working with clients with brain injuries is desirable.
  • Dependable, professional, and honest with a positive attitude.
  • Flexible and able to work well under pressure.
