About the Role

As a Band 3 Health Care Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our clinical staff in delivering high-quality patient care. Your responsibilities will encompass a range of clinical and supportive tasks, contributing to a holistic approach to patient wellness.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Assessment and Monitoring: Assist in the assessment and monitoring of patients' health status, recording vital signs and observations accurately.
  2. Personal Care: Support patients with personal care tasks, including bathing, grooming, and meal assistance.
  3. Environmental Safety: Maintain a hygienic and safe environment, ensuring compliance with infection control protocols.
  4. Companionship and Support: Provide companionship and emotional support to patients, fostering a sense of dignity and respect.
  5. Care Planning: Collaborate with nursing staff to implement care plans and respond to patients' needs effectively.
Qualifications
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong focus on patient care.
