Job Title: HLTA Support Staff

GSL Education is seeking a dedicated and experienced HLTA Support Staff to join our team at a Primary School in Eastleigh. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting teachers and students in KS1/KS2.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the classroom teacher to deliver high-quality lessons and support student learning
  • Provide individualized support to students, including tutoring and behavior management
  • Assist with classroom management, resource management, and assessment
  • Communicate regularly with parents regarding student progress and concerns
  • Follow health and safety protocols and participate in professional development opportunities

Requirements:

  • Strong knowledge of the primary school curriculum and teaching methodologies
  • Patience, adaptability, and a genuine passion for education
  • Ability to craft engaging and inclusive lesson plans
  • An enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online Update Service or be willing to process a new application
  • Excellent team spirit and good behavior management skills
