Job Description

Job Title: HLTA Position for Primary School

Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced HLTA to join our team at GSL Education. As a HLTA, you will play a crucial role in supporting teachers and students in a Primary School setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the classroom teacher to support lesson delivery and student learning
  • Provide individualized support to students, tutoring and behavior management
  • Assist with classroom management, resource management, and assessment
  • Communicate regularly with parents regarding student progress and concerns
  • Follow health and safety protocols and participate in professional development opportunities
  • Adapt to various tasks as needed to contribute to the school's educational objectives

Requirements:

  • In-depth knowledge of the primary school curriculum and teaching methodologies
  • Patience, adaptability, and a genuine love for education
  • Ability to craft engaging and inclusive lesson plans
  • An enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online Update Service or be willing to process a new application
  • Have excellent team spirit and good behavior management skills
  • Be passionate about teaching and have a strong command of the curriculum
