Job Introduction

We are seeking a Retail Stand Manager to oversee the smooth operation of our hospitality lounge at Everton FC. The ideal candidate will have experience as a leader within a team and be able to work closely with new teams on an event-by-event basis.

The Retail Stand Manager will be responsible for managing a team of staff, overseeing the operation of the retail stand, and ensuring that all food products are serviced in line with timings specified.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to brief a team of people, and be able to lead a large team of staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Attend pre-match manager briefings and participate in training required by legislation and the company.
  • Monitor staff working practices to ensure they are working efficiently and productively.
  • Liaise with the kitchen team to ensure all food products are serviced in line with timings specified.
  • Work in adherence with Food Allergens information and service procedures.
  • Ensure that both bar and floor staff are attentive to guests' needs and work in a timely manner to minimize any wait times.
  • Welcome guests, take orders, and serve beverages to guests.
  • Care about customer satisfaction and deliver the optimal client service experience.
  • Serve guests in a friendly, welcoming, and efficient manner while maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
  • Deal with customer and staff complaints effectively and efficiently.
  • Actively upsell products and maximize revenue capture.
  • Support overseeing the food and beverage operation within a restaurant, ensuring that the quality of product and service remain consistent in line with standard operating procedures.
  • Assist with the training and development of staff members on the day while adjusting staffing levels as necessary to meet the needs of the business.
  • Maintain cleanliness of both front and back of house areas and adhere to health and safety guidelines.
  • Follow standard operating procedures to maintain quality and consistency over all units across site.
  • Make sure staff are signed in, fully briefed, and given their allocated break time.
  • Use proven interpersonal skills to provide a world-class service to our guests.
  • Plan for any problems or shortages so they are prevented before occurring.
  • Ensure profitability through protection of the company's assets and stock.
  • Always ensure you and your team remain smart and presentable in line with the company's dress and appearance policy.
