Job Title: Pastoral Coach

Lemur Associates Ltd is seeking a skilled Pastoral Coach to join our team at a large Further Education College in Yorkshire. The successful candidate will work closely with students in the Animal care & Horticulture department, providing support and guidance to help them achieve their goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as an advocate for students, providing support and guidance to help them overcome challenges and achieve their goals.
  • Work closely with students in an outdoor setting, providing pastoral care and support.
  • Assist in key areas of student development, including motivation, confidence, and achievement.
  • Collaborate with teaching staff to provide a supportive and inclusive learning environment.

Requirements:

  • Strong interpersonal and organisational skills.
  • Experience in providing support to young people, with a focus on motivation and inspiration.
  • Ability to work effectively with students, staff, and external partners.
  • Knowledge of teaching and learning principles, with a focus on student-centred approaches.
