About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a small residential service for children and young adults with autism and learning disabilities. As a Support Worker, you will be responsible for providing individualized support to enhance the lives of our clients and help them reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide professional and patient support to young adults with special educational needs
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with clients, families, and colleagues
  • Contribute to a safe and supportive environment that promotes the well-being and independence of our clients
  • Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge
Requirements:
  • Experience working with young adults with autism and learning disabilities
  • Strong behavior management skills and ability to work with challenging behaviors
  • Manual handling and hoists experience
  • Personal Care and Care Certificate course completed (or willing to work towards)
