Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled FPGA Design and Embedded Software Specialist to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge technology, utilizing your expertise in digital design and embedded systems.

About the Role

This role will involve designing, developing, and testing complex digital systems using FPGAs and embedded software. You will be working with our team to create innovative solutions for various industries.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop FPGA-based systems, including hardware and software components
  • Develop and test embedded software applications for various platforms
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate FPGA designs into larger systems
  • Optimize system performance, power consumption, and cost
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in FPGA design and embedded software development

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Detailed knowledge of the FPGA design flow from RTL design, simulation, synthesis, and place & route
  • Knowledge and expertise in debugging sophisticated designs and embedded software
  • Creative and structured approach to problem-solving
  • Familiarity with the Synplify toolchain for single FPGA implementations
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as assembly language (ideally Arm assembler), higher-level (e.g., C++)
  • Experience using a UNIX environment and shell programming/scripting (e.g., Tcl, Perl, Python)
