Job Description

We are seeking a Midlands Infrastructure Lead to join our team and play a key role in delivering our 2030 Mains Renewal strategy. This is an exciting opportunity to lead a large team of construction professionals and make a positive impact on the environment.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and executing the regional mains renewal programme, ensuring compliance with external regulations and health and safety protocols. You will also oversee a significant budget and direct a team of up to 150 people, including network construction managers, logistics managers, and reinstatement managers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a regional strategy for mains renewal, aligning with the company's 2030 ambition.
  • Oversee and manage a team of up to 150 people, including senior professionals.
  • Collaborate with peers to drive business success and improve performance.
  • Ensure compliance with external regulations, including health and safety protocols.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A good understanding of operational regulations and experience in demonstrating this in practice.
  • Past experience in operational management, looking after a large team.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to discuss project processes with internal and external stakeholders.
  • A full UK driving license.
