Graduate Building Surveyor

About the Role
Gleeds is seeking a talented Graduate Building Surveyor to join our team in Glasgow. As a Graduate Building Surveyor, you will play a key role in delivering building surveying services, including surveys, dilapidation advice, party wall advice, and construction projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist Building Surveyors in the delivery of building surveying services, including surveys, dilapidation advice, party wall advice, and construction projects.
- Assist Building Surveyors with the preparation of feasibility studies, cost plans, submissions for planning and building regulation approvals, tender documentation, and managing the tender process.
- Undertake surveys, including condition surveys, DDA, Fire Risk Assessments, Schedules of Condition, and Acquisition Surveys.
- Prepare reports for customers and undertake party wall surveyor duties.
- Provide dilapidations advice and deliver dilapidations assessments and negotiate with other parties.
- Undertake quality monitoring roles of major construction projects.
- Successfully complete the Gleeds internal APC preparation programme and self-development training in readiness for attaining Chartered status (RICS).
About You
We are looking for a Graduate Building Surveyor who has graduated or will be receiving their degree qualification before August 2025. You will have the right to live and work in the UK and possess clear and effective communication skills, both oral and written. You will also have good organisational skills and the ability to quickly adapt to changes.
