About The Role

As a Graduate, you'll:

  • \t
  • Assist Building Surveyors in delivering building surveying services, including surveys, dilapidation advice, party wall advice, and construction projects for new builds, renovations, and maintenance works. \t
  • Assist Building Surveyors with preparing feasibility studies, cost plans, submissions for planning and building regulation approvals, tender documentation, and managing the tender process. \t
  • Assist building surveyors with evaluating and reporting on tenders, administering construction contracts, undertaking surveys, preparing reports for customers, and undertaking party wall surveyor duties. \t
  • Successfully complete the Gleeds internal APC preparation programme and self-development training in readiness for attaining Chartered status (RICS). \t
  • Ensure that all quantitative and financial information has been independently checked before issue, including maintaining evidence of independent checks.

  • You'll have graduated or will be receiving your degree qualification before August 2025. \t
  • You'll have the right to live and work in the UK. \t
  • You'll have clear and effective communication skills, both oral and written. \t
  • You'll have good organisational skills and the ability to quickly adapt to changes. \t
  • You'll have good ICT skills, with an elevated level of ability in MS Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. \t
  • You'll be lively and enthusiastic, but conscientious and precise. \t
  • You'll be outgoing and people-orientated, with a strong ability to work as part of a team.
