Job Title: Medical Sales Representative

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Medical Sales Representative to join our team in the North of England. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with customers in the NHS and other medical sectors.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and execute direct sales activities in the primary area of the NHS, including procurement, clinical departments, and ward environments.
  • Develop and increase sales of products manufactured and supplied by our company.
  • Represent the company to establish and build long-term customer relationships in our client's region.
  • Provide regular reports and documentation as requested by the company to ensure visibility of the regional potential.
Principal Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Grow existing and new customers through proactive planned individual account support.
  • Develop the regional territory plan with the National Sales Manager to achieve the regional potential and sales targets.
  • Generate and develop new opportunities, follow up quotations, samples, and close new business, ensuring the CRM accurately reflects the status.
  • Ensure widespread networking with key stakeholders and decision-makers to promote our brand and products through proactive, planned sales visits and appointments.
  • Be accountable for the region's revenue and capital pipelines, accurately logging all information to ensure all potential is centrally logged.
  • Support regional forecasting with the proactive use of the CRM opportunities and continual professional engagement with key stakeholders and decision-makers.
  • Handle customer complaints efficiently and professionally, and repair customer products with minor faults when required.
  • Provide full and precise feedback from customers on all aspects of our client's business activities and/or products, including complaints, satisfaction, and product improvements.
  • Report on all competitor's activities, pricing, and/or strategies when identified.
  • Record all customer details and sales activities via the company's business systems (Excel, Outlook, CRM system) in line with the business's expectation requirements.
  • Conduct product demonstrations and customer product training as and when required.
  • Attend office, exhibitions, and sales meetings when requested.
  • Promote the brand name and any other products supplied by our client.
  • Liaise with all internal departments when necessary or requested.
  • Adhere to all procedures associated with the position.
  • Undertake other duties and provide support as and when required.
  • Ensure all Health & Safety policies and procedures are adhered to and enforced at all times.
Desired Skills:
  • Field sales experience, having managed a territory.
  • Sold into the NHS before (preferable but not essential).
  • Experience of using CRM systems.
  • Computer literate, with experience and ability to use Microsoft Office.
  • Full driving license.
Package:

£38,000-£46,000 + uncapped bonus (current payouts estimated from £2,000-£25,000). Benefits include a company car (hybrid), laptop, phone, and expenses.
