Crane Maintenance Specialist

The role involves ensuring crane integrity is maintained and operated to current legislative, corporate, and manufacturers' recommendations and in line with client specifications. This includes carrying out fault-finding and breakdown maintenance work, liaising with the site team, and collaborating with contractors and sub-contractors to perform multi-discipline work on cranes.
Responsibilities also include assisting in investigations and recommending improvements following equipment failures or onset of deterioration of components, machinery, or structural parts. Additionally, you will be expected to update work and equipment history records on maintenance management systems electronically.
To be successful in this role, it is essential to hold an NVQ Level 3 in a recognised Apprenticeship, an 18th edition qualification, and a Gantry Crane ECITB Crane Operator Certificate. A CSCS Blue Card and knowledge of LOLER Regulations and LEEA Guidelines are also required. You must have a proven track record in operating gantry cranes and repair and maintenance of crane equipment.
A strong background in crane operations and maintenance is necessary to perform most tasks and require minimal supervision. A UK driving licence is also required. The estimated salary for this position is £45,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience.
