**Job Requirements**

We are seeking a hands-on security engineer with a passion for hunting for vulnerabilities and securing complex hybrid on-prem/cloud environments & applications built on diverse tech stacks.

The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of IT, Engineering, SRE, or application development combined with 1-2 years in cybersecurity or related field, with a thorough understanding of tactics, tools, and procedures used by attackers stemming from practical experience detecting, exploiting, and remediating/mitigating vulnerabilities.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Identify and mitigate potential security risks in our applications, networks, and processes.
  2. Collaborate with internal teams to investigate security events, prepare for incident response, and remediate vulnerabilities.
  3. Stay up-to-date with the latest cybersecurity trends, threats, and technologies.
Qualifications
  1. Proficiency with security tools and technologies, including firewalls, IDS/IPS/SOAR/SIEM technologies, log analysis engines, and ability to investigate security incidents and determine root cause.
  2. Knowledge of OWASP and web application vulnerabilities, detection, exploitation, and remediation.
  3. Experience with scripting or programming languages for understanding the root cause of vulnerabilities, automating tasks, and developing security solutions.
  4. Experienced with network penetration testing, including the use of port scanners, vulnerability scanners, automated exploitation frameworks, and manual exploit creation.
