About the Role:As a Senior Recovery Nurse, you will play a crucial role in providing post-operative care to patients in the recovery room. You will ensure patients are monitored closely following surgery and are stabilized before being transferred to their ward or discharged.
- Provide high-quality care to patients in the recovery phase after surgery.
- Administer medications and manage pain relief.
- Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure smooth and safe patient transitions.
- Support and mentor junior staff members within the recovery unit.
- Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid NMC registration.
- Significant experience in post-operative recovery care.
- Strong clinical skills in monitoring and managing patient care post-surgery.
