Job Description:

Airbus Defence and Space is seeking a highly skilled Digital Systems Engineering Manager to lead our team in the development of complex digital systems for on-board satellite communications missions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and contribute to the development of complex digital system engineering developments for on-board satellite communications missions.
  • Ensure good planning, technical coherence, and quality of the activities of an expert engineering team.
  • Provide expert support during the preparation and testing of hardware-software, payload, and spacecraft integration stages.
  • Liaise with stakeholders to ensure adequate planning of system development, integration, and validation activities.
  • Provide technical and team leadership.

Requirements:

  • Expertise in system engineering management and planning over the full product lifecycle.
  • Experience in satellite digital communication systems and on-board digital processing technologies.
  • Experience in validation of complex digital systems, including hardware-software and RF-digital integration activities.
  • Able to rapidly assimilate in-depth technical details about complex Airbus products.
  • Communication and leadership skills to collaborate well within a multi-disciplinary engineering and commercial team environment.
